Visiting Professor Xiaodong Jiang
A warm welcome to Professor Xiaodong Jiang, whose work focuses on studying rock magnetic properties and geochemical processes in marine environments.
Xiaodong's research focus is on the study of rock magnetic properties and geochemical processes in marine environments, with special interest in North Pacific paleoenvironmental evolution and marine ore resource formation mechanism.
While at ETH, he will focus on high-resolution geochemical analyses for deep-sea ferromanganese nodules and crusts to reconstruct north Pacific paleoenvironments and to explore biogeochemical cycling.
Xiaodong Jiang is visititing the Climate Geology group for one year (November 2023 - November 2024).
